Water Store will rise again say owners

In reporting about the tornado that hit Midland on June 23, 2010, I have been surprised at how little, if any, has been mentioned about the destroyed building that housed The Water Store and until recently Eurobuns Bakery Inc at 911 King Street. Out of respect for all of our customers and employees I would like to update you about our current state of returning The Water Store to a fully operational business.

We are working very hard and fast to relocate The Water Store to a new location nearby so as to inconvenience our customers as little as possible. The Water Store business requires a unique location to provide our customers with the same convenience and excellent service they were accustomed to in our previous location. It has taken some time to find the right location and currently we are very close to completing a lease on a new, nearby, location that I am sure our customers will appreciate and will provide all of the same services they have been accustomed to when shopping for their water treatment equipment as well as refilling their water bottles with the "Best Water in Town". We expect to reopen in the middle of August and once the lease on our new location has been completed we will be posting the exact address on the pylon sign at 911 King Street. The building at 911 King Street has been declared a total loss and what now remains will be demolished in the near future. The total amount of damage is about $650,000.

A new commercial building will be built on the same location but will take many months to be completed, which is why The Water Store needs to move to a new location.

We appreciate the patience and loyalty of all of our customers and are eager to get back to serving all of you. We especially appreciate the well wishes and sympathy expressed by everyone we meet. Living in a great town like Midland where people are understanding and compassionate really comes in handy when faced with a disaster like this.

Sheryl, Lisa, Ron and I really appreciate everyone's support at this very difficult time.
